Mancini sat out last night’s game in D.C. with neck stiffness.
Mark Trumbo has homered in back-to-back games and in three of the last four. He’s the right fielder and cleanup hitter tonight.
Jace Peterson has hit safely in six of his last eight games with a plate appearance, batting .320 (8-for-25) during that stretch. But Danny Valencia gets the start at third base against a southpaw.
Alex Cobb has made one career start against the Braves, allowing two runs over seven innings back in 2012 while pitching for the Rays at Tropicana Field.
Former Oriole Nick Markakis is 5-for-18 (.278) with a double against Cobb. Another former Oriole, Ryan Flaherty, is 3-for-9.
