Another slide: The Orioles have now lost four in a row and have been outscored 29-8 in that stretch. They have lost six of seven, 18 of 21 and are just 5-23 over their last 28 games.

Road woes: The Orioles fall to 6-26 on the road on the season. They have now lost nine straight road games.
For starters: Chris Tillman got rocked in his fourth Major League start of the year. Over just two innings, he gave up six hits and six runs. Tillman’s ERA is 8.40.
Over the last two games, O’s starters have allowed 14 ER and four homers in 7 1/3 innings.
Over the last 18 games, Oriole starting pitchers are 1-14, 6.66 with just five quality starts.
As a staff, they have allowed 21 ER over 17 innings in the last two games as the team ERA for the year increased from 4.81 to a season-worst, 5.00.
Bad stat: This is the first time all year the O’s have allowed double figure runs in back-to-back games.
Finally, a longball: Matt Wieters crushed a homer to left center in the top of the second. It was his fifth homer of the year, his first since May 5th and ended a 102-at bat homerless streak for Wieters, matching the longest of his career.
Wieters homer was just the O’s third over the last ten games and 6th in 17 games. It’s their 50th homer of the season.
Gigantic notes: The Giants improve to 36-27 with a fourth consecutive win. San Fran is 13-5 over its last 18 games and is 23-11 at home.
The Giants have scored six runs or more in nine of the last 16 games.
Corey Patterson went 2 for 4 with a run scored. He is 8 for 20 during a five-game batting streak. Ty Wigginton was 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI.
Adam Jones went 0 for 4 to snap an eight-game batting streak during which he hit .367-1-7.
Vs. the senior circuit: The Orioles, who went 11-7 last season vs. the National League, are now just 1-6 in interleague games this year and 102-134 all-time.
