The Orioles have now signed 21 of their selections and now look to add first-round pick Dylan Bundy to the list. If they get Bundy, they will have signed all 11 of their first 11-round picks.
The 6-foot-2, 198-pound Delmonico played in the 2010 Under Armour All-American Game at Wrigley Field. He hit .450 in his high school career with 45 homers and 209 RBIs.
The son of former Tennessee baseball coach Rod Delmonico, Nick is said to have an advanced approach at the plate with excellent plate discipline.
He has one brother that currently plays at the University of Georgia and another that is currently with Rancho Cucamonga in the Single-A California League.
Delmonico did some catching in high school, but the Orioles project him as a corner infielder.
He had a college commitment to Georgia.
