NEW YORK – The Orioles are opening the 2020 season at home on March 26 against the Yankees, with Major League Baseball releasing the schedule earlier today.
The Red Sox follow the Yankees to Camden Yards before the Orioles head to St. Louis for their first road series – and first visit there since 2003 at the old Busch Stadium. The Orioles then head to Yankee Stadium and return home.
Other highlights include National League Central interleague matchups that bring the Cubs to Camden Yards in April and the Orioles to Wrigley Field in June for a pair of two-game series. And the Orioles get a rare weekend visit from the Nationals in August after the first of three Friday off-days.
April is full of interleague games with series against the Cardinals, Pirates (home) and Cubs.
The Orioles host the Brewers for a weekend series in September and fly to Cincinnati for a series from Aug. 31-Sept. 2.
The All-Star break runs from July 13-16, with the Orioles on the road for 11 days before it arrives.
The Orioles are home for the 25th anniversary of 2,131, playing the Yankees on Sept. 6. Cal Ripken Jr. figures to be in attendance.
The season ends with a three-game series in Boston from Sept. 25-27.
Times will become official at a later date.
