Triple-A Norfolk left-hander Troy Patton was rocked tonight, giving up eight runs and 13 hits in 4 1/3 innings against Rochester. His ERA ballooned to 6.56.
Michael Aubrey collected a hit in his first at-bat and left the game with an apparent injury. I’ll try to find out more tomorrow.
Update: Or later tonight. I’m told Aubrey exited with a slight injury to his hip flexor, but it doesn’t appear to be anything serious. Probably day-to-day.

Nolan Reimold started in left field and was 0-for-4 as the game moved to the bottom of the ninth, lowering his average to .100. Josh Bell was 2-for-4 with a double, and Jeff Salazar hit his fifth home run.
Double-A Bowie’s Steve Johnson also had a rough night, allowing six runs (five earned) and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings in a 6-2 loss to New Hampshire. He walked six and struck out six, served up two home runs and threw two wild pitches.
Making his first start at Single-A Frederick, Ryan Berry held Kinston to an unearned run and three hits over four innings. Berry, a ninth-round pick last year out of Rice University, walked four and struck out three.
The last time I checked, Single-A Delmarva and Hagerstown were tied, 1-1, in the 12th inning.
