Meanwhile, catcher Michael Ohlman will be examined Friday by team orthopedist Dr. John Wilckens before deciding whether to undergo surgery on his right shoulder or attempt to rehab it.
Ohlman is seeking a second opinion after meeting with a doctor earlier today. His parents have joined him here.
An MRI revealed damage to the shoulder, though the club hasn’t revealed the extent of it.
Ohlman was injured Tuesday when his truck flipped over after a driver cut him off.
