The ESPN Zone hosted another Orioles Q&A and autograph session today, this time welcoming O’s young arm Brad Bergesen.
Bergesen appeared to take the afternoon in stride, as his fellow young O’s have done during various appearances this season. They seem to be a group of “kids” who have it together, and fans are definitely taking notice.

Bergesen appeared to take the afternoon in stride, as his fellow young O’s have done during various appearances this season. They seem to be a group of “kids” who have it together, and fans are definitely taking notice.

In gauging fans’ reactions today, most O’s fans said Bergesen’s Q&A wasn’t their first one this season. So what keeps them coming back? They like learning new things about their favorite players, especially the young guys who have arrived this season.
Mary Hilton of Rosedale took the day off to attend the Q&A with her family – husband Mark and daughters Mackenzie and Maddison.
“We just like to learn new things about the players. You get to learn more personal things about them,” she said.
The Hiltons have even won tickets and the prized autographed recliner that was given away last year.
Orioles fan Mark Martin of Middle River shared the Hiltons’ reasoning for returning to Q&A and after Q&A – he likes learning more about each player, and the autographs don’t hurt either.
Though people seemed to leave happy after hearing from Brad Bergesen today, there was only one name that fans gave when asked who they’d choose from the entire Orioles roster to see at an ESPN Zone Q&A one day.
I’d give you two guesses, but you’d probably only need one – rookie Oriole Matt Wieters.
Who would you want to see?
(On another note: Brian’s Baseball Bash, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. this Sunday, has officially sold out! Who’s headed to the ESPN Zone for that event this weekend?)
