ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Manager Buck Showalter won’t go with a set lineup in Nick Markakis’ absence. He’s going to mix and match, depending on who’s swinging a hot bat and the opponent’s starting pitcher.
Rule 5 pick Ryan Flaherty gets the start in right field today for the Orioles, replacing Bill Hall. Chris Davis is batting third, with J.J. Hardy moving up one spot.
