Jo-Jo Reyes held the Tigers to one run over six innings in his last start.
He gave up a run tonight after three batters, and four runs after four batters.
The Angels worked Reyes for 34 pitches while taking a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
Reyes surrendered a double, single, Howie Kendrick’s RBI single and Torii Hunter’s three-run homer. Vernon Wells singled with one out for the Angels’ fifth hit of the inning.

Update II: Consecutive two-out singles by Adam Jones, Guerrero and Matt Wieters produced a run in the top of the third.
Down on the farm, Triple-A Norfolk’s Steve Johnson held Charlotte to two runs and three hits, with three walks and six strikeouts, over six innings. He’s registered two straight Triple-A wins.
Jake Fox hit his 12th homer, a three-run shot that increased his RBI total to 54. He later added a two-run double.
Matt Hobgood started Game 1 of short-season Single-A Aberdeen’s doubleheader against Auburn, and he allowed four runs and four hits in four-plus innings. Hobgood walked seven, struck out one, threw a wild pitch and hit a batter. He’s 0-5 with an 11.63 ERA.
