Through the sixth tonight, Beckett has allowed 12 runs in 13 1/3 innings to the Orioles over his last two starts. He began the night with an ERA of 6.38 in three starts on the year against the Orioles. His career mark was 7-4 with an ERA of 3.99 over 17 starts.

The Orioles, by the way, were 1-for-6 tonight with runners in scoring position until the RBI double by Chris Davis in the sixth made it a 3-2 edge. Andino’s blast to center followed for the 6-2 lead.

The Orioles are 4-2 this year in their past six games against Boston and are 15-16 in their last 31 versus the Sox.
