In seven games with the Shorebirds, Givens was hitting .222-0-4, with four hits over 18 at bats, all singles. He had walked five times and fanned four times since joining the Shorebirds on May 25 from extended spring training.
Infielder Gary Helmick was added off Aberdeen’s roster to take Givens spot on the Delmarva roster.
