Gonzalez has made eight appearances on his injury rehab assignment, including three with the Baysox. He’s allowed three runs and eight hits in 8 1/3 innings, with one walk and nine strikeouts.
The plan calls for Gonzalez to pitch again tomorrow night before returning to short-season Single-A Aberdeen for Tuesday’s game. The Orioles could activate him from the disabled list immediately after the break.
