The four starting pitchers tonight at the O’s full-season affiliates combined to give up just one earned run and pitch to an ERA of 0.38 this evening.
Here is the rundown:
Norfolk’s Troy Patton: 5IP, 6H, 3R, 1ER
Bowie’s Zach Britton: 6IP, 2H, 0R
Frederick’s Ryan Berry: 5IP, 2H, 0R
Delmarva’s Kenny Moreland: 8IP, 2H, 1R, 0ER
That is 1 ER and 12 hits over 24 innings for the four.

Patton has now pitched to an ERA of just 1.84 over his last five starts, lowering his ERA for the year from 6.56 to 4.74.
Britton has been on a real roll for the Baysox. He has now allowed just 1ER over his last 19 1/3 over three starts and has pitched to an ERA of 1.23 over his last seven starts. Britton began tonight with the fifth best ERA in the Eastern League and lowered it to 2.62.
Berry lowered his ERA to 2.17 in six starts for the Keys and Moreland became the first Shorebirds pitcher to go eight innings this season. He retired 17 of the last 18 batters he faced as Delmarva beat Lexington 7-1 for its sixth win in a row and its ninth straight win at home. Shorebirds pitchers have given up just 10 runs during the six-game win streak.
Keiron Pope went 0 for 5 with four strikeouts in the win as his 12-game hit streak ended. Pope hit .422 during the hit streak.
