The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero from the 15-day disabled list and optioned right-hander Mark Worrell to Triple-A Norfolk.
Guerrero, 36, is batting .279 (87-312) with seven home runs and 31 RBI in 83 games for the Orioles this season. He went 1-for-4 on Sunday in a rehab game with Double-A Bowie.
Worrell, 28, pitched to a 36.00 ERA (2.0IP, 8ER) in four games with the Orioles.
