I kind of wish I were but I’m still at the CBS radio studios where I will host the post game show later tonight along with Dave Johnson.
Yes, we are still watching this game. Hope we are not alone.
Yes, this has been a hard one to watch, we just reached the halfway point and it took almost two hours.
Brian Matusz has struggled much of this night with 83 pitches through four frames. He did retire three straight hitters after issuing a leadoff walk in the fourth. It was good to see Micheal Aubrey rip that two-run double in the second and he has 3 RBI in game.
Twins pitching has walked seven batters and it feels like about ten.
I wrote about the Arizona Fall League earlier today. I think those games just started.
Let’s see if we can move this one along a little quicker the rest of this night.
