I’m going to keep writing about Lou Montanez until I get it right. The Orioles will find out Tuesday whether he cleared waivers, which is expected. The MLB office is closed Monday for Labor Day. And Montanez has never been outrighted, so he’d normally have to accept the assignment. However, his season will be over and he’ll become a minor league free agent.
