We have an early game today. Don’t become confused and think it’s Sunday.
Ubaldo Jimenez has never faced the Indians or Rockies, his two former teams. He’s 0-3 with a 4.81 ERA in four home starts this season.
The Indians are starting right-hander Corey Kluber, which could return Ryan Flaherty to second base unless Manny Machado sits out another game with his strained right groin. Otherwise, Jonathan Schoop remains at second base and Flaherty starts at third.

Schoop went 0-for-5 last night and hit into two double plays to lower his average to .213. He’s in a 4-for-30 slump.
Steve Lombardozzi went 1-for-4 with a walk last night for Triple-A Norfolk and is batting .294. He’s hit safely in 15 of 17 games.
Schoop’s defense at second base could keep him in the majors. Manager Buck Showalter is willing to stay patient with a young player if he’s contributing with the glove. That’s why Machado came up to play third base in 2012.
Not sure that Schoop will bat second again today if he’s in the lineup.
Kluber has faced the Orioles once in his career and allowed six earned runs (seven total) and 11 hits in 4 2/3 innings at Camden Yards.
Nelson Cruz is 2-for-6 with a double and home run against him. Delmon Young is 4-for-9 with a double, and David Lough is 2-for-6.
Do you start Lough in left field and use Cruz as the designated hitter, or put Cruz in left and DH Young or Steve Pearce?
