A couple of other notes on tonight’s game:
* The White Sox are 3-6 since getting to the .500 mark at 52-52. Chicago has won its last five road games and is 14-5 in its last 19 on the road.
* Tonight’s starter for the Sox, John Danks, is 4-1 with an ERA of 1.69 over his last seven starts. The hot-hitting Jones is just 1-for-18 in his career vs. Danks.
* Jeremy Guthrie is 3-5 with an ERA of 4.71 in nine career starts against the Sox with four quality starts. He lost to Chicago on May 2, allowing four runs over seven innings.
