Josh Bell looks noticeably thinner since he’s been working out with former Oriole Brady Anderson. He can’t tell you how much weight he’s lost, but he brought a different body to FanFest.
“I haven’t jumped on a scale yet,” Bell said. “I’m going to wait to surprise myself. I feel great. I’m running well. Everything’s stronger.”
Bell started his winter in Arizona and has since relocated to Florida and California. He’s spent the last two weeks with Anderson in California.

Bell is ticketed for Triple-A Norfolk in April after the Orioles traded for third baseman Mark Reynolds, but he’s not conceding anything.
“It’s one of those things like being traded, or any of the moves that are being made. You can’t think about anything other than playing baseball. My job is going to be to win a job in the spring. I think that’s the way everybody else looks at it,” he said.
“I’m just going to try to win a job, and whatever decisions they make are their decisions.”
