Should Frederick win tonight, game five will be at Potomac on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Winston-Salem, which swept three straight from Kinston, hosts game one of the finals on Monday night vs. Frederick or Potomac.
By the way, on this date in history, September 11, 2007, Frederick won its last Carolina League championship with a 5-1 win over Salem as Chorye Spoone pitched a complete game for the win.
So the Orioles are 22-14 under Buck Showalter. The Orioles have 21 games left.
If they go:
*9-12 or better, they avoid a 100-loss season.
*11-10 or better, they top last year’s 64 wins
*7-14 or better, they will finish with a winning record under Showalter of at least 29-28 or better.
