Umpires reviewed Marco Scutaro’s fly ball that was ruled foul down the left field line with one out in the top of the sixth, and they upheld the call after checking the videotape.

Jeremy Guthrie has allowed one hit over 5 1/3 scoreless innings, a Kevin Youkilis double in the first. He’s retired 15 in a row after striking out Scutaro, who doesn’t need another review.

The Orioles have four hits off Jon Lester in five innings. They put runners on second and third with one out in the fifth and couldn’t score. Guthrie must feel like he can’t afford to give up a run or he’s going to lose.
