Here’s more good news: Felix Pie greeted reliever Jeremy Hellickson with an undisputed ground rule double to score Scott. Pie moved to third on Matt Wieters’ single and scored on Julio Lugo’s fielder’s choice grounder, increasing the lead to 7-2.

The Orioles have been involved in three calls this season that required instant play. Two of the calls at Camden Yards were upheld. Jake Fox was awarded a home run in Boston on an overturned call.

Down on the farm, David Hernandez struck out the side in the seventh inning in his first injury rehab appearance at Double-A Bowie. He’s scheduled to throw another inning on Monday.

Second baseman Ryan Adams hit his 15th home run.

Triple-A Norfolk’s Scott Moore has a grand slam, double and five RBIs in the Tides’ game against Durham.
