Orioles manager Buck Showalter has placed David Lough in the second slot in the lineup for tonight’s game against the Indians at Progressive Field.
Lough is making his fourth start this season as the No. 2 hitter.
Chris Davis, who went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts last night, was lowered from second to fifth.
The Orioles need to win the next two games to extend their series win streak to nine, tying the club record. The Indians are listing right-hander Danny Salazar as Sunday afternoon’s starter against Kevin Gausman. They originally had left-hander T.J. House closing out the series.
The Orioles are listing Bud Norris, Chris Tillman and TBA as their starters for the White Sox series that begins Monday in Chicago. Miguel Gonzalez could make the start on Wednesday.
Chris Sale, Jose Quintana and Hector Noesi are starting for the White Sox.
