Luke Scott homered to right field with two outs in the fourth inning, reducing the Pirates lead to 2-1.
Scott appeared to jump on a Charlie Morton changeup with the count full, giving him two homers and nine RBIs this spring.
MASN play-by-play announcer Gary Thorne is sitting next to me in the press box. Just as he finished telling me that Pirates starter Charlie Morton is telegraphing his changeup by slowing his delivery, Scott laid into the next pitch.

Over in Fort Myers, Kevin Youkilis hit a two-run homer off Chris Tillman in the fourth inning. Red Sox 2, Orioles 0.
Update: Brad Bergesen was removed from the game in the fifth inning with two outs and nobody on base. He struck out Luke Carlin and induced a popup from Andrew McCutchen with the count full. Bergesen allowed two runs and three hits, walked one and struck out four. He threw 56 pitches, 38 for strikes.
Update II: Bergesen retired the last 10 batters he faced. Nolan Reimold led off the bottom of the fifth with a walk, moved to third on Ty Wigginton’s double and scored the tying run on Cesar Izturis’ grounder. Wigginton scored the go-ahead run on an error. Orioles 3, Pirates 2.
