The Orioles today announced that singer-songwriter Margaret Valentine will perform America the Beautiful during the seventh inning stretch at Oriole Park when the Orioles take on the Tampa Bay Rays this afternoon at 4:05 p.m. Earlier this week, the Orioles announced that jazz singer Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. will perform the National Anthem and God Bless America on Sunday.

She is performing at the MIX 106.5 Summer Blast at Power Plant Live, opening for Ed Sheeran and A Great Big World on July 1. Valentine is also performing at the National Baseball Hall of Fame’s 75th anniversary celebration on August 2 in in Cooperstown, NY.
Murphy (@landaueugenejr) was the winner of season six of NBC’s America’s Got Talent television program in 2011, and is a native of Logan County, West Virginia. His first album, That’s Life, was released on November 11, 2011 and debuted at #1 in the Jazz category on the Billboard 200 list and #34 on the overall Billboard 200 list.
