Robert Andino came within a few feet of hitting a grand slam in the top of the ninth, but he made the final out in the Marlins’ 5-2 victory.

Trembley noted that Guthrie was “better” today.
“He got the first guy out in every inning. Pitched down better. Improved outing,” Trembley said.
“Now we’ve got to do a better job of getting the third out. A two-out walk and a hit-by-the-pitch, Guthrie’s not going to let that happen.
“He got some movement. The one he struck out (Cameron) Maybin on, that’s Jeremy Guthrie. He had sink, he ran the ball right in on his hands, so it’s there.”
Trembley mentioned that Kam Mickolio had too many deep counts. Mickolio walked two and struck out two.
