MASN announces 2013 Nationals broadcast schedule

MASN, the television home of the defending National League East champion Washington Nationals, today announced its Major League Baseball schedule for the 2013 season. Once again, all Nationals games broadcast by MASN will be available in crystal-clear high definition, including the April 1 season and home opener against the Miami Marlins.
Other highlights of MASN’s 2013 Nationals schedule include interleague series against the Baltimore Orioles (May 27-28, 29-30), and the Chicago White Sox…MASN, the television home of the defending National League East champion Washington Nationals, today announced its Major League Baseball schedule for the 2013 season. Once again, all Nationals games broadcast by MASN will be available in crystal-clear high definition, including the April 1 season and home opener against the Miami Marlins.
Other highlights of MASN’s 2013 Nationals schedule include interleague series against the Baltimore Orioles (May 27-28, 29-30), and the Chicago White Sox (April 9-11), Detroit Tigers (May 7-8, July 30-31), Minnesota Twins (June 7-9), Cleveland Indians (June 14 and 16) and Kansas City Royals (Aug. 23-25) of the American League Central.
The Nationals will have 92 games air live on MASN and MASN HD, and an additional 61 games will be broadcast on MASN2 and MASN2 HD. Nine Nationals games are currently scheduled to air on national networks in 2012.
Play-by-play voice Bob Carpenter and color analyst F.P. Santangelo, a former major leaguer, will again serve as the primary MASN announce team. Carpenter enters his eighth season in the Nationals broadcast booth, while Santangelo begins his third campaign with MASN.
MASN will simulcast 20 Nationals games on WUSA 9 in Washington, D.C. These MASN simulcasts on Channel 9 will occur on opening day and select weekend dates.
