MASN announces 2018 Washington Nationals broadcast schedule
MASN, the television home of the two-time defending National League East champion Washington Nationals, today announced its Major League Baseball schedule for the 2018 season. Once again, all Nationals games broadcast by MASN will be available in crystal-clear high definition, including the season opener at Great American Ball Park against the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday, March 29.
Other highlights of MASN's 2018 Nationals schedule include interleague series against the Baltimore Orioles (May 28-30, June 19-21), New York Yankees (May 15-16, June 12-13), Tampa Bay Rays (June 5-6, June 25-26), Toronto Blue Jays (June 15-17) and Boston Red Sox (July 2-4) of the American League East.
The Nationals will have 94 games air live on MASN and an additional 64 games will be broadcast on MASN2. Four Nationals games are currently scheduled to air on national networks in 2018.
Play-by-play voice Bob Carpenter and color analyst F.P. Santangelo, a major leaguer for seven seasons, will again serve as MASN's primary announce team. Carpenter enters his 13th season in the Nationals broadcast booth, while Santangelo begins his eighth campaign with the network. Dan Kolko returns for his fifth season as MASN's on-field reporter.
