But Orioles fans attending the annual baseball-centric celebration will also get the opportunity to participate in a brand-new MASN initiative: a mobile text-messaging platform that will deliver important FanFest updates directly to their cellular devices and smart phones.
By texting ORIOLES to 74499, O’s fans will be given an opportunity to receive updates throughout the day. You’ll know when and where the next exciting forum or demonstration will take place, or if there’s a late change in the lineup at an autograph station. If news breaks about a player signing, your mobile device will buzz, beep or sing with the most up-to-date bulletin.
After FanFest is over, the MASN text messaging service will keep going, right through spring training and into the regular season. You’ll be able to receive news from the Orioles, get programming notes from MASN and enter contests. O’s fans crave the most recent news, and this text-messaging service will keep them digitally connected to their favorite team all season long.
Make sure to text ORIOLES to 74499, and follow the instructions you will receive by return text to obtain updates throughout the day. As always, message and data rates may apply based onm your mobile plan. See you at FanFest!
