On the upside, the O’s offense has started to hit.
The offense produced 13 runs on 31 hits the past two games. The O’s hit .331 as team (40 for 121) in the Boston series and they have picked up nine hits or more in six of the last eight games.
The O’s today rallied from 4-1 down after six. Miguel Tejada’s two-run homer in the 7th was huge to tie and Rhyne Hughes gave them the lead with an RBI single in the 10th followed by Matt Wieters’ two-run single.
The O’s have three wins on the year. Two of them were down to the wire nerve rackers. Nothing comes easy right now.
