NEW YORK – Miguel Gonzalez is getting his second look at the Yankees tonight. He’s hoping the view hasn’t changed.

Gonzalez allowed one run over seven innings on April 14, with one walk and a career-high 10 strikeouts. The current group of Yankees is batting .193 against him, going 21-for-109.

Miguel Gonzalez throws Fenway.jpgGonzalez is 3-1 with a 2.59 ERA this season and has allowed one run or fewer in three of his five starts. He’s 3-3 with a 3.62 ERA in 11 career starts against the Yankees and 2-2 with a 4.29 ERA in six starts in the Bronx.

Carlos Beltran is 4-for-6 with two doubles and a home run against Gonzalez. Manager Joe Girardi should try to sneak Beltran’s name into the lineup in at least two slots.

Mark Teixeira is 1-for-15 with six strikeouts, Brian McCann is 2-for-11, Brett Gardner is 5-for-22 with three doubles, Alex Rodriguez is 1-for-8 with a double and three strikeouts, and Chase Headley is 0-for-6 with four strikeouts.

Adam Warren is making his first career start against the Orioles, but he’s faced them 10 times in relief, going 1-2 with an 8.18 ERA in 11 innings. He’s allowed 10 runs and 17 hits, walked six and struck out eight.

If you believe in the reverse lock theory, you may want to cover your eyes.

Warren is 2-1 with a 4.78 ERA in five starts this season, and he’s allowed only two home runs in 26 1/3 innings. Left-handers are batting .286 against him, and right-handers are hitting .224.

Warren hasn’t gone deep into his starts, working 5 2/3 innings in each of his last three outings. He’s also worked 5 1/3 and four innings.

The current Orioles are batting .455 against Warren, going 15-for-33. J.J. Hardy is 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs, Adam Jones is 3-for-6 with a double, Manny Machado is 3-for-4 with a double and Chris Davis is 2-for-4.
