Jim Hunter interviews Buck Showalter following the O's 6-2 win over Oakland
Andino has his second multi-RBI game of the season, the other coming July 17, when he knocked in four against the Indians. Tommy Hunter held the Athletics to two runs over 6 2/3 innings. He scattered 10 hits, but there's no fine imposed for littering the bases. Michael Gonzalez replaced Hunter with two runners on base and two outs in the bottom of the seventh and retired Hideki Matsui on one pitch. Update: Gonzalez struck out three batters in 1 1/3 scoreless innings. He hasn't allowed a run in nine consecutive appearances and 14 of 15. Mark Reynolds added a big insurance run in the ninth with his 27th home run. He was 1-for-28 since homering into the second deck at Camden Yards. Kevin Gregg, who didn't retire any of the six batters he faced yesterday, allowed a leadoff single in the bottom of the ninth before retiring the next three batters. Final score: Orioles 6, Oakland 2 The Orioles have won back-to-back games for the first time since July 16-17. A victory tomorrow night would produce their first series win since June 24-26.
