Adam Jones extended his hitting streak to 11 games, a career high and the longest by an Oriole this season, with a one-out single in the second inning.
Jones was picked off first base for the second out.
And so it goes.
Oakland left-hander Dallas Braden caught Jones leaning. Manager Dave Trembley didn’t agree with the call, however, and came out of the dugout.

Remember when Lee Mazzilli, who almost never left the dugout, chucked the bucket of bubble gum onto the field? That’s releasing the pressure valve.
Trembley should have enough frustration built up to scale the out-of-town scoreboard. Maybe break off a piece of the bench and chuck it onto the field.
The Orioles trail, 1-0, on Jack Cust’s leadoff walk in the second inning, Gabe Gross’ one-out double to right and Mark Ellis’ grounder to second.
Cust made it all the way around the bases without tripping.
