Nick Johnson received some good news regarding the MRI taken on his right wrist this morning.
Johnson said the MRI didn’t reveal any structural damage. No tears or broken bones. It only showed old scarring from his multiple surgeries.
Johnson, who had to leave Wednesday night’s game after one at-bat and went on the disabled list yesterday afternoon, will wear a brace on the wrist for a week.

Johnson, who had to leave Wednesday night’s game after one at-bat and went on the disabled list yesterday afternoon, will wear a brace on the wrist for a week.
“Just some wear and tear from the past,” he said after tonight’s 9-8 victory over the Indians. “Nothing torn or any of that stuff, so that’s a good sign.
“I’ll keep this brace on for a week and take some pills and see how it is after a week. I’ll see how it feels and go from there.”
Xavier Avery replaced Johnson on the Orioles’ 25-man roster and hit his first major league home run tonight.
