Zach Britton is done after holding the Yankees to one unearned run and six hits over seven innings.
Britton can’t get the win because Bartolo Colon retired 13 straight Orioles before Adam Jones’ leadoff single in the seventh, and his shutout remains intact.

The Orioles haven’t scored in Britton’s last three starts while he’s been in the game. Meanwhile, he hasn’t allowed an earned run in his last 19 1/3 innings.
Clay Rapada retired Curtis Granderson for the first out in the top of the eighth, and Jason Berken has replaced him. The baton is being passed.
Berken hasn’t pitched since May 11.
Tonight’s attendance: 20,589
Update: Colon has allowed three hits and struck out seven over eight scoreless innings. He’s only thrown 87 pitches.
Plate umpire Dan Bellino is giving him that outside corner. And I’m referring to the far corner of the Orioles’ dugout.
J.J. Hardy has been called out on strikes twice tonight, and he put up a brief argument after the second at-bat. Matt Wieters struck out looking to lead off the eighth.
Robert Andino struck out swinging to end the eighth and strand Mark Reynolds at third. Reynolds had walked with two outs, stole second and took third on catcher Francisco Cervelli’s throwing error.
Andino had to bat because the only available reserves are Jake Fox and Brandon Snyder. Who’s going to play second base if manager Buck Showalter uses a pinch-hitter in that situation?
