The Orioles had considered bringing up another reliever for tonight’s game against the Mariners, but they apparently will stick with their current group.

President of baseball operations Andy MacPhail met with manager Buck Showalter after last night’s 7-6, 13-inning victory to discuss the possibility of adding a fresh arm. Rather than make a roster move, they’re “holding at present,” according to a team official.
Starter Jake Arrieta went six innings, which led to a parade of five relievers – Michael Gonzalez (15 pitches), Koji Uehara (17), Kevin Gregg (18), Jim Johnson (19) and Jeremy Accardo (43).
I think it’s safe to assume that Accardo isn’t available tonight.
Jason Berken can serve as the long man if Chris Tillman is knocked out early. Clay Rapada also is available, and it’s possible that Gonzalez can be used again. Uehara says he’s able to work back-to-back games, though it’s always a risk because of his injury history.
Tillman exited after 3 2/3 innings in his most recent outing in Kansas City, and a similar effort tonight would leave the club in a bind. He hasn’t topped five innings in four of his six starts.
Tillman has never faced the Mariners, who drafted him in the second round in 2006.
Also, Alfredo Simon has thrown three scoreless innings today at Double-A Bowie, and his fastball has topped out at 94 mph. You can track his progress by checking Steve Melewski’s blog on MASNsports.com.
