It’s becoming so unbelievable, but the Orioles blew another game today in the 9th inning.
They took a one-run lead to the last of the 9th at Oakland, but Ryan Sweeney’s two-run single with the bases loaded and one out vs. Jim Johnson gave the A’s a 4-3 win.

Johnson was clearly struggling, according to Joe Angel’s radio call. In the inning he gave up two hits and threw two wild pitches with Matt Wieters making a nice save to stop a third. He actually struck out Rajai Davis, but he reached on a wild pitch.
So it’s now 1-11 with nine losses in a row.
Johnson was looking for his 11th career save, but didn’t get it. The O’s spoiled another good starting effort as Jeremy Guthrie gave up just one earned run in 6 2/3.
Garrett Atkins had a two-run single in the 6th to tie the game 2-2 and Ty Wigginton’s sac fly in the 8th put Baltimore ahead 3-2. But they failed again to get the final three outs to end the losing streak.
You want more bad news. Miguel Tejada, who had three hits today, left the game in the 6th with a leg injury. We have not yet heard a further report on that.
