When that agreement becomes official, the O’s will have come to terms with three of their first four picks, leaving just top pick, shortstop Manny Machado.

Of their top ten rounds selections, Machado remains unsigned along with 6th-round pitcher Dixon Anderson and 7th-round pitcher Matthew Bywater.

The O’s recently reached overslot agreements with 5th-round pick Conner Narron and Parker Bridwell, taken in round nine.

Also today, the Orioles announced that they have extended working agreements with their minor league affiliates in Norfolk, Bowie and Frederick through the 2014 season. The Triple-A Norfolk Tides are in their fourth season as an Orioles affiliate, and both the Double-A Bowie Baysox and Single-A Frederick Keys have been affiliated with Baltimore since their inaugural seasons in 1993 and 1989, respectively.

“We are very pleased to continue our working agreements with the Norfolk, Bowie and Frederick clubs,” said Orioles President of Baseball Operations, Andy MacPhail. “We have formed great partnerships with each of these clubs and look forward to continue developing our talent in the supportive environment that these cities provide.”
