The Orioles look to get their slumping offense going tonight in the second game of a four-game series at Yankee Stadium.

The Orioles begin the night at 53-38, good for first in the American League East. They lead the Red Sox by 1 ½ games and the Blue Jays by 2 ½ games. The Yankees are 46-46 and in fourth place, 7 ½ games behind.
The O’s are 4-3 versus New York in the season series; they lead despite being outscored 24 to 21 runs in those games. Mark Trumbo has hit .320 (8-for-25) against the Yanks with three homers and four RBIs. Conversely, Adam Jones is batting just .143 (4-for-28) in the seven games.

On the mound tonight is Vance Worley (2-0, 2.87 ERA), who comes out of the bullpen to make his third start and faces New York right-hander Nathan Eovaldi (7-6, 5.11 ERA).
Worley’s first two outings of the year were starts against the Rays and the Rangers. The righty went 1-0 with a 5.06 ERA. In 18 relief outings, he is 1-0 with a 2.23 ERA. Worley has made 83 career starts and is 29-26 with a 3.89 ERA and 1.407 WHIP.
Eovaldi’s last three outings came in relief and he pitched a combined 7 2/3 scoreless innings. In five June starts, he went 0-3 with an ERA of 8.65 and a .339 average against. He gave up 10 home runs in those 24 innings. In his only 2016 start against Baltimore on June 3, Eovaldi pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed eight hits and five runs.

* Manny Machado is tied for sixth in batting average (.311), second in doubles (30) and tied for second in extra-base hits (49).
*Trumbo is first in homers (28) and total bases (206), third in slugging (.569) and tied for third in RBIs (68).
* Chris Davis is first in strikeouts (126) and fourth in walks (52).
* Chris Tillman is second in wins (13) and 10th in ERA (3.29).
* Zach Britton is first in saves (29).
