The Orioles succeeded in hosting an eventful media day this afternoon. Mike Bordick, Cal Ripken Jr., and Brady Anderson kicked things off with a press conference of their own – reflecting on their postseason careers and offering words of advice for the current roster.

Later in the day, Buck Showalter announced that his Game 1 starter would be Chris Tillman, which came as no surprise after his performance a week ago in the Division Series.
The Orioles wrapped up the day with a press conference officially announcing Hardy’s contract extension. The presser was well attended by teammates of Hardy’s who stuck around after the team workout earlier in the evening. Even the Birds back their Birds!
