The 25-year-old Huntzinger went 5-2 with a 1.83 ERA in relief last year pitching between Double-A and Triple-A in the Red Sox organization. A third-round draft pick in 2007, he worked 68 2/3 innings, allowing 51 hits with 28 walks and 62 strikeouts.
The 26-year-old Additon pitched in 2013 at Triple-A Memphis in the St. Louis organization, going 9-7 with a 4.10 ERA in 24 games, 21 starts. Over 131 2/3 innings, he walked 38 and fanned 117. Additon was drafted out of a Davie, Fla., high school in round 46 of 2006 by the Cardinals.
The 25-year-old Chiang, a left-handed batter, played for Double-A Frisco in the Texas organization in 2013. A native of Taiwan, he hit .263 with 36 doubles, 11 homers and 52 RBIs.
The 25-year-old Kang, a lefty hitter and thrower, played in the Rays organization last season, mostly at Double-A. Over 124 games, he hit .264 with 23 doubles, eight triples, 16 homers and 49 RBIs. He had an OBP of .365 and OPS of .844.
Kang, from Busan, South Korea, came to the United States at 14. He was drafted by Tampa Bay in round 15 of 2006 out of Parkview High School in Georgia, the same high school that produced Josh Hart, a player the O’s drafted in June with the 37th overall pick.
