The Orioles today announced that they have agreed to terms with left-handed pitcher Dana Eveland and right-handed pitchers Jim Johnson and Darren O’Day on one-year contracts, avoiding arbitration.
Eveland, 28, was 3-2 with a 3.03 ERA (29.IP, 10 ER) in five starts for the Dodgers last season after making 25 starts for Triple-A Albuquerque, where he went 12-8 with a 4.38 ERA (154.0IP, 75 ER) to begin the season.
Johnson, 28, went 6-5 with nine saves and a 2.67 ERA (91.0IP, 27 ER) in 69 games…The Orioles today announced that they have agreed to terms with left-handed pitcher Dana Eveland and right-handed pitchers Jim Johnson and Darren O’Day on one-year contracts, avoiding arbitration.

O’Day, 29, was 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA (16.2IP, 10 ER) in 16 games for Texas in 2011. He was also 1-0 with a 2.53 ERA (21.1IP, 6 ER), 27 strikeouts and four walks in 18 total games with Double-A Frisco (one game) and Triple-A Round Rock (17 games).
The Orioles have exchanged salary arbitration figures with right-handed pitchers Jeremy Guthrie and Brad Bergesen, outfielder Adam Jones and infielder Robert Andino.
