Jonathan Villar moves back to shortstop and Hanser Alberto gets the start at second base for tonight’s series opener against the Angels at Camden Yards.
Rio Ruiz is batting cleanup. Stevie Wilkerson remains in center field and Pedro Severino is catching.
Dan Straily will try to rebound from his last start against the Rays, when he allowed five runs and nine hits with three walks in 4 1/3 innings. He’s 2-4 with a 7.49 ERA and 1.664 WHIP in nine career starts against the Angels.

Albert Pujols is 10-for-21 (.476) with a double and two home runs against Straily. Mike Trout is 9-for-20 (.450) with two doubles and a home run.
Trevor Cahill, in his first season with the Angels, has registered a 6.95 ERA and 1.455 WHIP in seven starts. His 12 home runs allowed lead the majors.
Cahill hasn’t gone more than 4 1/3 innings in his last four starts, with 19 runs surrendered in 15 2/3 innings. Right-handers are hitting .203/.261/.519 against him, but left-handers are batting .382/.460/.745.
The Orioles haven’t fared well against Cahill. He’s 3-1 with a 1.97 ERA and 0.906 WHIP in five career starts.
Chris Davis is 3-for-19 with a home run and eight strikeouts against Cahill.
