Guerrero is 5-for-15 with a double, home run and four RBIs lifetime against McCarthy. Jones is 3-for-6.
Bell is 3-for-9 with runners in scoring position this season and 3-for-25 (.120) without RISP. He’s registered back-to-back two-RBI games.
Manager Buck Showalter told reporters in Oakland that Jeremy Guthrie is dealing with some mild shoulder stiffness and could have his next start pushed back a day or two. No plans for him to visit Dr. Lewis Yocum.
