The Orioles have announced the return of the fan-favorite AT&T Fans’ Choice Bobblehead promotion for 2015. Fans will once again be able to select the player they want to be immortalized in a bobblehead giveaway, scheduled to be distributed during Fan Appreciation Weekend on Sunday, October 4 to the first 25,000 fans age 15 and over.
Fans can vote for any of five players who have never been featured as an Orioles bobblehead: left-hander Zach Britton, left-hander Wei-Yin Chen, right-hander Darren O’Day, right-hander Bud Norris and infielder/outfielder Steve Pearce.
Voting is underway now and fans can vote through unlimited mobile voting by texting 1 for Britton, 2 for Chen, 3 for O’Day, 4 for Norris, or 5 for Pearce to 31826. Texting is available on all mobile carriers and is subject to standard text message rates.
Each time fans text their vote using their mobile phone they will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a VIP experience that includes four lower box tickets to attend the October 4 game and an autographed bobblehead of the 2015 AT&T Fans’ Choice Bobblehead player, plus an on-field experience prior to the game.
Fans can also vote on the Orioles website at www.orioles.com/bobblehead. Voting will conclude on Thursday, April 30.
The past three seasons, fans have voted shortstop J.J. Hardy (2012), first baseman Chris Davis (2013), and right-handed pitcher Chris Tillman (2014) as AT&T Fans’ Choice Bobbleheads.
