Cedric Mullins has hit safely in a career-long 15 straight games dating back to last September and is batting .414 (24-for-58) in that span, with seven doubles, two triples, two home runs, eight RBIs six walks and nine runs scored.

Matt Harvey is making his third start with the Orioles after allowing six runs and 13 hits in 9 2/3 innings. He’s walked two batters and struck out nine.

Harvey made his only career start against the Mariners July 13, 2019 and allowed one run in 5 2/3 innings.

The Mariners are starting right-hander Justin Dunn, a first-round pick of the Mets in 2016 out of Boston College who was included in the Robinson Canó trade. Dunn faced the White Sox in his first start and allowed three runs with one hit and eight walks in 4 2/3 innings.

In 10 starts last summer, Dunn registered a 4.34 ERA and 1.358 WHIP and averaged 6.1 walks per nine innings. He averaged 12.2 walks in his four starts in 2019.

Right-handed hitters slash .175/.269/.320 against Dunn and left-handers slash .170/.397/.404. But those walks …

Dunn has never faced the Orioles.

The game-time temperature is listed at 58 degrees with a 69 percent chance of precipitation. And it’s doubtful that another postponement would lead to a Thursday doubleheader on getaway day for the Mariners, but I know as much about travel as I do the weather.

Which is why I’m hesitant to pass along the dew point unless omitting it is improper.
