Relievers Tommy Hunter and Ryan Webb performed fielding drills before batting practice.
Hunter is on the disabled list with a strained left groin, but he’s ready to throw another bullpen session Thursday or start an injury rehab assignment.
Manager Buck Showalter alluded to an injured reliever last night. I’m assuming it’s Webb, since he was on the field early.
Note: The Athletics’ game notes list the starters for the weekend series at Camden Yards as follows:
Friday: Wei-Yin Chen versus Tommy Milone
Saturday: TBA versus Sonny Gray
Sunday: Ubaldo Jimenez versus Scott Kazmir
Chris Tillman’s turn falls on Saturday.
(The Orioles’ notes also list Saturday as TBA)
