The Orioles posted their lineup for tonight in Colorado and it doesn’t include outfielders Luis Robert Jr. or Heston Kjerstad.

Dylan Beavers is in left field, Colton Cowser in center and Leody Taveras in right.

Kjerstad told the media that his wife Klaire gave birth to their first child yesterday, a son they named Krue, at 5:55 p.m. in Arkansas and he flew to Denver last night.

Pete Alonso is the designated hitter. Samuel Basallo is at first base.

Samuel Basallo’s 28 extra-base hits are the fifth most by an Orioles primary catcher in his rookie season and three shy of tying Geronimo Gil (2002), Andy Etchebarren (1966) and Hal Smith (1955) for fourth.

Christian Encarnacion-Strand is starting at third base, with Coby Mayo on the bench.

The Orioles have won four games in a row while also being outhit, only the second time that’s happened in team history. They won five straight from May 23-28, 1987, which also is the last time that any team in the majors accomplished the feat.

The Orioles recorded a .991 fielding percentage in August, the sixth highest in the majors. They posted a .982 fielding percentage through July.

They bring a 10-game errorless streak into tonight, their longest since a 12-game stretch from Sept. 16-28, 2021.

If you like balance, the Orioles are 69-69 overall, 34-34 at home and 35-35 on the road. They’ve gone 48-47 when opponents start a right-hander and 21-22 against left-handers.
