The All-Star break arrives after today’s series finale, with the Orioles sending rookie Spenser Watkins to the mound for his second major league start and third appearance.

Watkins held the Blue Jays to one run over five innings last week.

Ryan McKenna gets the start in left field and Austin Hays is in right.

Ryan Mountcastle is the first baseman and Anthony Santander is the designated hitter. Trey Mancini is on the bench before participating Monday in the Home Run Derby.

Hot-hitting Ramón Urías is batting fifth.

McKenna-Runs-Orange-ST-Sidebar.jpgWhite Sox right-hander Dylan Cease is 7-4 with a 4.14 ERA and 1.299 WHIP in 17 starts and he’s struck out 111 batters in 87 innings. He’s surrendered only 10 home runs.

Cease faced the Orioles on May 27 in Chicago and held them to one run and four hits in six innings. He struck out 10.

Freddy Galvis homered off Cease, but he’s on the injured list.

A win today would make the White Sox 7-0 against the Orioles, their first sweep of a seven-game season series in club history.
