According to the Elias Sports Bureau, he joins Cal Ripken Jr. (32) as the only players in the last 50 years to debut with the Orioles and have at least 30 RBIs in their first 50 games versus the Yankees.
Welington Castillo is hitting .350 (14-for-40) against left-handers this season. He’s batting .333 (7-for-21) in five games against the Yankees.
Yankees right-hander Luis Severino is 1-1 with a 4.74 ERA in six career games (four starts) versus the Orioles and 1-1 with a 4.29 ERA in five games (three starts) at Camden Yards.
Trumbo is 4-for-8 with a double and two home runs lifetime against Severino. Manny Machado is 4-for-11 with a double, three home runs and six strikeouts. Chris Davis is 1-for-10 with five strikeouts.
